Don McChesney and his wife Nicole began life anew during the spring of 1998 when they gave their lives to Jesus Christ. They are now in the 8th year of homeschooling four children. Don's experience during a business career of 20 years convinced him that classically educated individuals are rarely met with and desperately needed in contemporary America. He believes that Christian homeschoolers are uniquely positioned to fill that need. He loves to learn and to teach.

Don earned his B.A. in Political Science from The American University in 1990 and his M.B.A. from the University of Miami in 1998. He and his family are active in their church and are joyfully fostering a wonderful little girl.

Elisabet Fountain is the daughter of two teachers. She is married to pastor Robert Fountain of Calvary Chapel Miami Beach and homeschools their two children. Prior to teaching at Equip Education, she taught 12-15 year olds Latin, logic, science, and worldview in a private homeschool co-op. Additionally, she leads the women's ministry at Calvary Chapel Miami Beach.

Born in Denmark and raised in Greenland, foreign language learning began with English in 5th grade, German in 7th, French in 9th, and Latin in 10th. Latin, being not only the mother of so many languages but also the most rigorous, offers via its structure and beauty a training in complex thought processes, which sets the student free not only to command the language but also better govern the thoughts.

Chris Curtis grew up in a small town in southern Illinois. His journey of faith began in 1999 when he came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior while living in Tampa, Florida. He has used his skills to manage and teach groups in small homegrown companies to international retail chains to the local church body. He fell in love with the classical education model while in seminary and has a passion to share his knowledge and experience with others for the furthering of God's Kingdom.

Chris earned a B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Trinity International University and a Masters of Divinity from Knox Theological Seminary. He lives in Miami Shores with his wife Jessica.
